Kim's obituary
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Kimberly "Kim" Glasgow, a man of great personality, humor, resilience and spiritual depth. Kim was born on June 25, 1956, and embraced the joy of eternal life on February 25, 2025. He has left a void that can never be filled. His enduring legacy, though, rests with his four strong, independent children.
Kim, known for his goofy humor, mild inappropriateness, frugality, spiritual strength and supportive nature, was an exceptional individual known to keep everyone around him in good spirits. He was the kind of person who, despite his struggles, always managed to put a smile on the faces of others and guide them with his wisdom. One enduring lesson he taught was to always tell loved ones how much they mean to you, and to express your pride in them at every opportunity. A man of faith, he also imparted the importance of prayer before meals.
Kim was a retired Navy Commander, a testament to his bravery, resilience, and commitment to serve his country. Among his many achievements, he was particularly proud of having received a full scholarship to attend the Ohio State University, an accomplishment that spoke volumes about his talent and dedication. However, true to his character, Kim considered his foremost success to be the strong, meaningful relationships he built with his children.
A memorial service to honor and celebrate Kim's life will be conducted on March 15, 2025, at 10AM at 13914 45th Ave NE Marysville, WA 98271 or through Facebook Live. This will be a time to share treasured memories, to laugh, to cry, and to remember a man who touched the lives of many.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Kim's memory to the PTSD Foundation of America. Donations can be made at https://everloved.com/life-of…. Your support will assist in offering help and hope to those struggling with PTSD, a cause close to Kim's heart.
Kimberly "Kim" Glasgow, a man who never paid full price for anything, will be deeply missed but his spirit, his love for life, and the lessons he imparted will forever be a part of those who were privileged to know him. He is survived by his wife Jacki Forsythe; children, Mark Glasgow, Kathleen Glasgow, Laura Glasgow and Paul Glasgow; and his older brother, Wesley Glasgow.
