Her beautiful soul will be forever missed. I always loved her positive attitude and her warming hugs. I'm truly blessed to have known such an awesome lady.
I was blessed to know Kimberly as a neighbor and friend in Troy. Her beautiful home was always welcoming, filled with friends, food, light, and laughter. She knew how to bring people together, throw a great party, and celebrate life. Most of all she raised and loved two incredible children of whom I’m grateful to call friends. I feel thankful to have known Kimberly and to have been touched by her generosity and spirit of togetherness. May her memory be a blessing.
My most precious memory of Kimberly was from when I was very young. Attending her baby shower for Maddie at Laura’s house and Kimberly so beautifully pregnant and glowing. What an impression she made on me. In all my decades of knowing her, she met every interaction with a smile, a hug, and the sweetest of words. I am deeply saddened by her loss. My love to Laura and Maddie.
These pictures are from an annual camping trip to Willow Creek campground. As well as a few from the annual Draw party. I am so thankful for the memories I have of Kimberly on these days. Camping with all us youngsters she was so game for staying up and enjoying our shenanigans, including going and laying on the cold hard ground to look at the stars.
Well, this amazing woman and I had fun together for a good forty years! We walked many, many miles together, staying fit, on seventeen mile road, and later around Troy. Walking always led to talking, sharing, growing closer. One night in early 2018, not long after my husband died, we had a girls night at her house, Heidi J and Laura & Maddie in attendance. We watched my dvd of Leonard Cohen, snuggled on the course, laughed, cried, and sipped a bit of wine. I will miss this best of friends forever!
We still need Kimberly here to brighten the day, but then we’ll always need her! Such a bright star; Kimberly lit the room with her presence and will sorely be missed by all whom she touched!
She’s dancing with George now. That’s a lovely thought.
