Kimber's obituary
Kimberly "Kimber" Boese, 51, of Inverness, peacefully passed away on June 22, 2023, after a difficult battle with cancer.
Kimber was born on December 29, 1971 to Gene Musselman and Janene Roussell in the city of Sacramento, California. Kimber grew up in Iowa, California, and Oklahoma. After graduation from Yukon High School in 1990, she enlisted in the USAF National Guard, which is where she fell in love with nursing. Post-enlistment, Kimber worked in nursing for over 20 years. She was passionate about her work and completely devoted to her patients, providing her patients with attentive medical care and the compassion and understanding she was known for.
Besides her two sons, Cole Narigon and Logan Bates, it was Tim Boese who was the ultimate love of her life. Saving the best until last, she met Tim in Inverness, FL in 2015 and they married a year later.
Tim and Kimber were soulmates, balancing one another beautifully. Whether going to concerts, camping out, or just hanging out in the home they built together, Tim and Kimber were a devoted to one another. That devotion was cemented after her diagnosis and in the last days of her illness. Tim’s care of Kimber at the end was remarkable evidence of the love they shared.
After her diagnosis with a very rare neuroendocrine cancer, Kimber retired from nursing. Still energetic and expecting to recover, Kimber spent her last several years helping Tim run a painting business, working on home improvement projects, and scrapbooking.
Kimber is survived by her parents Gene and Karen Musselman, brothers Scott (Dana), Tim and Tony (Misti) Musselman, sister Michelle McRoberts (Steve), sons Cole Narigon and Logan Bates, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She will be missed. Kimber was strong-willed and soft-hearted. She was smart and funny, sassy and sweet. Her loved ones very much miss her physical presence. Please keep them all in your prayers.
