Kimberley's obituary
In Loving Memory of Kimberley Baliutavicius
January 28, 1988 – May 3, 2025
Kimberley Baliutavicius entered this world as a bold fire on January 28, 1988, and she lived every moment of her life in that same brilliant light. Beautiful, bold, and unwaveringly loyal to those she loved, Kimberley was a force of nature—brave beyond words, fiercely honest, and deeply devoted to personal growth and truth. To know her was to witness the power of a woman who embraced her full self and encouraged others to do the same.
Kimi’s love for life radiated in everything she touched. Whether through a simple conversation or an elaborate dance routine, she brought beauty and meaning to the everyday. Her love was fierce, yet gentle—her spirit soft, yet bold as fire. She was the type of woman who would do anything for the people she loved. Her husband, her children, and her family were the heartbeat of her life, and she gave herself fully to them.
To be loved by Kimi was to be empowered. Her confidence sparked confidence in others. Her love gave permission to love oneself more deeply. Her unwavering loyalty made her a fierce protector—an advocate who stood by those she loved no matter what.
Kimberley was a gifted dancer, an inspiring coach, and a dedicated instructor. She poured her soul into her passion for dance, fitness, and helping others find their strength. She was a true light in the CAL STATE LA Dance community and a powerful presence in the fitness world of Alhambra and Pasadena, CA. Her students adored her, not only for her talent but for the way she believed in them. Her mission was always clear: to help others become their best selves.
Kimberley leaves behind her beloved husband, Justas, and her three beautiful children—Zoe, Ezra, and Yaya—who were the joy and pride of her life. She is also survived by her mother, Trish Davis; father, Gregory Smith; her sister, Erin; siblings Karen, Robert, Paul, Kristina, and Nathan Smith; and step-siblings Ian and Ashley. She leaves behind cherished aunties Deborah Smith, Vanita Thompson, and Bernice Romo; uncles David Romo; and Ronald Smith and cousins Leslie Smith, Michael Thompson and John Romo and his wife, Sheila.
Kimberley’s presence in this world was unforgettable, and the impact she made will live on in the hearts of everyone she touched. Her fire will never go out—it lives on in her children, her family, her students, and all who were blessed to know her.
May we carry her light forward.
May we live as boldly and love as deeply as she did.
Rest in power, Kimi. We will miss you always.
