I met Kim working at WES.  She was kind and generous with her time, teaching me the ropes of public service. She was very empowering and helped build my confidence in my work, as a women, and as a human!  She always had time for a friend in need. We had so much fun together preparing for a longtime coworkers retirement.  All the amazing accomplishments of our grandchildren.  ❤️
My heartfelt condolences to Kim's family. I first met Kim when we worked in the same office/room in 1998 when we were temps. In early 2000's we shared a cube wall and talked probably more than we should have.  Later at the DSB, we would frequently do laps around "the squirrel cage." Such a sweet lady. Unfortunately, I moved to another campus and didn't see Kim as much in these last dozen years. I texted her Happy Birthday almost every year and we'd catch up over text. My regret is, I forgot to text her Happy Birthday this last year on her birthday. I chose not to do a belated birthday wish. Now, I sure wished I would have.  :(
