Kieran Joseph Kowal was a monster, a narcissist, and an idiot. In 2009 he was charged with domestic violence against his wife and spent a week in jail, which is information of public record. Despite this, he manipulated his way into custody of his four (legitimate) children from 2010 until his death. Funny enough, his "custody" of the children was not the result of any court order or legally binding contract (if there were it would also appear in public record), but rather the misplaced faith of their good mother whom he violently threatened and lied to until his death. If anything can be said about Kieran Joseph Kowal, it's that he was obscenely cruel to anyone who did not feed his pathetic ego.

He did not care for his children when they were sick. He had no encouraging words for them. He beat them, broke their doors down, pushed them down stairs, and gave them concussions. The children did not receive medical care. After being fired from his job, he left his four children alone at home for days at a time to play blackjack at a casino and died with an empty safe in his closet. The family home fell into filth disrepair for several years leading up to his death due to the alcoholism that finally took his life. His children had little to no contact with extended family members due to his violent and vindictive personality. All four of his children struggle with depression to this day due to the miserable years of abject neglect and mistreatment. His youngest son stopped having birthday parties at 8 years old because Kieran couldn't be bothered to plan them. He was an outspoken misogynist to his daughters. Kieran kicked his oldest daughter out of the house at 17, the day after her high school graduation, which he did not attend.

He lived in a fantasy world where he was a good man and everyone else was a liar. He failed to raise or love his children, and he failed to be happy in this life. He died alone, praying desperately.
