Kiera's obituary

It is with heartfelt sorrow that we announce the death of Kiera "KiKi" Cole, who passed away on September 8, 2024. Born on February 28, 1992, Kiera lived a vibrant life, graced by her witty, considerate, and bold personality that touched everyone she encountered.

Kiera was a beloved daughter to Meredith and Barry Cole and a devoted mother to her son, Joseph Cole and sister  to Dallas Mayfield and Marcus Cole . Her love for them was evident in her every action, and being a mother was one of her greatest pride and joy. Her legacy, will be one of happiness and beautiful memories,  that will forever be treasured by her family, along with the countless others who were fortunate to have known her.

Graduating with a degree in Mass Communications from Grambling State University in 2013, with aspirations of a career as a news anchor.   Kiera used her educational background to communicate effectively with all she met, thereby forming meaningful connections. She was not just known for her academic accomplishments, but also for her love of life and the enthusiasm she infused into every activity she participated in.

Kiera's interests were many and varied. She was a fan of Summer Walker's music, and enjoyed watching Cold Case and Tyler Perry movies. An avid supporter of the Green Bay Packers, she also loved playing Spades and watching Superbowl Halftime performances. Additionally, her favorite recreational activity was dancing, a passion that she often expressed at her favorite local spot, Red Rooster.

Chicken Alfredo and Texas Toast  was her favorite dish, indicative of her appreciation for the simpler things in life. Kiera's favorite color, green, reflected her love for nature and her vibrant personality. She was known for her wit and boldness, always speaking her mind with grace and respect for others, a lesson she often shared with those she interacted with.

Kiera Cole will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all those whose lives were enriched by knowing her. Her memory will continue to inspire and guide us in the years to come. Let us join hands in celebrating her life and remembering the joy, wisdom, and love she brought into our lives.

Memorial Services will be held September 28th 11:30 am at MJ Edwards Funeral Home.
