Kevin Zimmerman Sr.

September 7, 1962 – April 20, 2026

Kevin Zimmerman Sr. was born in Long Beach, California, and spent most of his life in San Diego, especially in Point Loma, where he felt most at home by the ocean. He loved sailboats, the open water, and the sense of freedom it brought him.

Kevin lived a full and layered life, one that carried both challenges and moments of light. He was known for his charm, his humor, and his ability to bring energy into a room. He had a way of making people laugh and leaving a lasting impression on those he met.

He was a father to Kevin Jr., Kyle, and Michael, and a grandfather to four grandchildren. He was also a son, a brother, a partner, and a friend—someone who shared in life’s moments, big and small, with those around him.

Kevin will be remembered for his spirit, his personality, and his connection to the ocean he loved so deeply.
