It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Kevin "Junior" Turner, also known endearingly as Junior, but who dearly loved being called Kevin. Born on the 10th of February, 1964, Kevin departed this world on the 25th of January, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and barbeque-scented memories.

Kevin was a man whose vibrant personality shone through in his zest for life and love for jokes. Those who knew him will remember him for his infectious laughter, his never-ending supply of jokes, and his inexhaustible friendliness. A lover of the color blue, he bore a deep love for his family that was as vast and infinite as the ocean itself.

Kevin's culinary affections lay in the heartiness of barbeque and the richness of soul food, and his preferred drink was the classic taste of Pepsi. But his deepest affection and the causes he held close to his heart were his children and grandchildren, for whom he cared more deeply than words can express. His joy and pride in his family were as clear as a cloudless summer sky.

He leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish his memory. His family includes his daughters Brittany Abodunrin, Tasha Turner, Ashley Turner, Iesha Turner, Shannon Turner, and Cheyenne Turner, as well as his son, William Turner III. His joy was further multiplied by his granddaughter, Emani Turner. He is also survived by his sisters, Andrea and Odessa Turner, and his brother, Benny White. His parents, Emma and William Turner, predeceased him. His memory will forever linger in their hearts as they navigate this world without him.

Precious in the sight of those who loved him, Kevin's legacy will continue to reverberate through the generations. His love, his jokes, his friendliness, and his beautiful soul will forever be engraved in the hearts of those who knew him. May he find eternal rest and may his memory be a blessing to us all.
