We were very saddened to hear about Kevin's passing. We pray that the love you shared, the laughter, the fond memories of your lifetime together gives you a peaceful moment within your heart during this very difficult period. Remember when one is truly loved they live forever.

It’s so hard to believe this fine man isn’t here any longer. We had some great years at NAC. Kevin always has your back at work (Clinton Correctional ). RIP Kevin. ♥️

My first day of OJT, no idea what to expect, nervous and curious, at line up we get paired with senior officers and I’m told that Im with thumper. No idea what that means or who it is or what the hell I’ll be doing. Kevin walks over to me with a huge smile and asks if I’m nervous! I responded I was a little! He laughed and said good that makes two of us! Everyday you come here you should always be nervous, it keeps you alert. He tells me to forget the academy bullshit, he’s going to teach me more in 8hours than they ever could in 8 weeks. He shows me around the maze that Clinton is, explaining every detail, answering questions I had before I even asked him. I’ve never seen someone so happy in the morning, laughing and joking with everyone that we meet. Inmates acknowledging him with good morning sir. Almost 10 years later I can tell you everything about that day because of how he made it. He was a leader and that was clear to see. He taught me more in that one day than I could ever thank him for. It was an honor to work with you thumper, and I will thank you again for teaching me all that you did, you truly are one of the best. There’s no doubt you’ll always be watching our backs, Rest In Peace Thumper, until we meet again!
