Background
My name is Karen Carpenter and I am raising funds to help my sister-in-law, Joy Spriggs, cover funeral expenses, burial costs, and provide some short-term financial support as she walks through this heartbreaking loss of her husband, Kevin.
Kevin and Joy Spriggs met at Hobe Sound Bible College in Hobe Sound, Florida and began a 45-year journey of faithful service to Christ’s Church. Kevin pastored with integrity, and Joy served faithfully alongside him in every congregation they loved.
Three years ago, Kevin was diagnosed with bladder cancer and began an unexpected medical journey that included major surgery at the University of Miami Medical Center. Despite exceptional care, the cancer spread. Early Tuesday morning (11/25), Kevin’s 64 year earthly journey ended—and his eternal one began.
Joy and their children, Jolie and Brett, remain committed to honoring their beloved husband and father by serving the God who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Kevin was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ, and we rejoice that he now shares fully in the fellowship of the Resurrection.

• Transportation of his remains from Florida to Ohio
