Kevin Arthur Simmons, 56, passed away after a long battle with cancer and went to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Sunday, July 31, 2022.  His brother was by his side when he passed away.  

Kevin was born on August 2, 1965, in Mountain View, California, to Bob and Sue Simmons.   His two greatest accomplishments are his daughters, whom he loved dearly, Robyn and Emily.  

He is survived by his daughters; father and step-mother, Bob and Linda Simmons; sister, Kimberley Simmons and her husband, William Hudson; brother, Sean Simmons and his wife, Christine Young; cousin, Melissa Von Bank Giller and her husband, Wally Giller, and their children.

Kevin is preceded in death by his wife, Trish; mother, Sue McKnight and his step-father, Gilbert; his grandmother, Alberta Von Bank; his grandparents, Eugene and Phyllis Simmons; his uncle, Michael Von Bank; and his niece, Laura Ann Pendley.

Kevin and his wife, Trish, were interred in Moncrief Cemetery, Gardendale, Alabama.
