I would randomly see Kevin early in the morning at Aetna when he would come up to Hartford. Despite the early hour he was always happy and happy to see me. We would often chat for a while, sometimes about clients, work, family or just nonsense... didn’t matter... each conversation was a great way to start the day. RIP
I am absolutely devastated to hear this news. Kevin was a very special man in my life. He is the reason that I work in Aetna Pharmacy Management and have since 2004. He hired me as his senior administrative assistant and eventually his project coordinator. We had a connection from day one… I was his work Susan and he had his wife Susan. I called “My KPO” & he would laugh! At one point, he had a “M&M Addiction” which I enabled by buying him dispensers for his office and the M&Ms to go in it. He kept me laughing, believed in me and gave me opportunities that I would’ve never had if it weren’t for him. He even gave a recommendation for me to be hired into the position that I’m in now. I don’t know what God had in store for him but I know he must’ve needed Kevin more than we did. This earth lost a true treasure and heaven gained a real angel! I loved him & respected him more than he knew!. Susan, Kayla and Ryan, you are in my thoughts and prayers constantly. I know you are devastated and heartbroken but I know that the pain is gone and he will continue to look over us. I’m sending you much love, strength and big hugs. RIP My KPO!!
My deepest sympathies to the O'Donnell family. I was fortunate to work with Kevin at Aetna. He was kind hearted and caring. I remember interviewing with Kevin and he was most impressed that one of my previous employers was RonJons Surf Shop. He was a charismatic manager and the first manager to give me the opportunity to advance in my career. This is very saddening news, he will be greatly missed!
My deepest condolences to the O'Donnell family. I had the pleasure of working with Kevin at Aetna. He always had such a cheery spirit and was very kind. He will surely be missed.
I had the pleasure of working with Kevin while at Aetna. When he was in Hartford we would often catch up early in the morning to chat. I am sad to see him go but will hold on to the memories of those spirited discussions. I am truly sorry for your loss, he was one of the great ones.
My deepest condolences to the O'Donnell family. Kevin was a true friend that knew how to put a smile on your face. I will miss his laughter and friendship.
I was very sad to learn about Kevin. I had the pleasure to work with him at Aetna. He was amazing at his role. He has such a passion for the work that we do. He was always very encouraging, very positive, and so supportive of everyone. I most remember him being so welcoming when I joined the organization. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Celynda Tadlock
My sincere condolences to my dear friend Kevin's family, Sue, Kayla and Ryan, and his brother and mother in this really sad time. Knowing Kevin for more than 20 years has been amazing and I treasure that he told me he was proud of me as I ventured in my leadership pat h with my Toastmasters journey. Rest in peace my friend!
