Memories & Regret
There will be...
No more late night phone calls asking for us to come pick him up
No more days with 30 missed calls because he forgot we still had to work
No more excited conversations in October wondering what we are doing for Christmas
No more shared Chinese dinners, family photos or reminiscing about Leroy, Betsy or the Cabin
No more parading the grandkids around so everyone knew they were his
We may never share these memories with Dad again
But we will always remember the sparkle in his eye, his beautiful smile, and how proud he was of each one of us.
He was a man who never gave up, never let Parkinson's define him and always had hope (and left his doctors in amazement)
For he would not want us to live with regret...
But rather in the memories of old country music, Sunday breakfasts, homemade divinity and him sporting his fresh new haircut and favorite new t-shirts us kids just got him.

Dad, Please wait patiently for us
Take Care of Peanut & Jarius for me
And
Rest in Peace, for one day we will see you again.
I learned he was full of it quite often b ut love the man
In response to "What did you learn from Kevin?"

Uncle Kevin could always find a reason to laugh and smile. His joyful and fun loving spirit is what I’ll remember most.
he was a guy that I could give a bad time to love you Kevin
