Kevin's obituary
In Loving Memory of Kevin Janisko
Kevin Robert Janisko, formerly of Flagstaff, Arizona, was born on September 19, 1967, in Springfield, Ohio, and left this world on September 15, 2023. He was a devoted father and husband and is survived by his wife, Kristine Janisko (nee Gliege), and their children Alex (7) and Ashley (9) of Montpelier, VA, as well as sons Benjamin Janisko of Westlake, Ohio, and Nicholas (Julia) Janisko, and grandchildren Zachary Thomas and Dominic Jo "DJ" of North Olmsted, Ohio.
Kevin's unwavering commitment to his family defined his existence. He found joy in the great outdoors, with a deep love for biking, hiking, and the beauty of the Southwest. His bond with his German Shepards was unmatched; he leaves behind his beloved dog Hercules.
Kevin took pride in many of his architecture projects over the years including the National First Ladies' Library, Walsh Jesuit High School (his alma mater) Library, and Western Reserve Library.
Kevin's recent move to Montpelier, Virginia, saw him dedicate himself to creating a picturesque farm for his family. In his passing, he leaves behind cherished memories and a legacy of love, devotion, and adventure.
A memorial service to celebrate Kevin's life will be held on September 30, 2023, at Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Road, Richmond, VA at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to set up college education accounts for his children through the "Learn more & give" link at the right.
