Kevin Michael Breck

June 3, 1971 – December 16, 2021

Kevin Michael Breck, age 50, formerly from Sioux Falls, SD, passed away unexpectedly on December 16, 2021 at his home in Minneapolis, MN.

Kevin was born on June 3, 1971, in Sioux Falls, SD to Al and Diane Breck. He was a 1989 graduate of Lincoln Senior High School and went on to complete his bachelor’s degree at Minnesota State University, Mankato. After college, Kevin relocated to the Twin Cities and enjoyed a long career as a recruiter.

Kevin was married to Kim Breck for 8 years and together they have a beautiful daughter, Sophie (16) whom he adored with all his heart.

Kevin was a beloved son, brother, and friend. He had a memorable, infectious, spirited, caring and generous personality and was loved by many. He was passionate about travel and was an avid concert attendee. Kevin also enjoyed the many years he was able to entertain around his backyard pool where he invented (and perfected) the ‘Watermelon’ dive.

He is survived by his father, Al; his three brothers, Alan (Jeri) Breck, Tony (Emily) Breck and Matt Breck; a host of nieces and nephews: AJ, Anna, Tyler, Alex, Elisabeth, Violet and Sully.

Kevin is preceded in death by his mother, Diane, and grandparents Edward & Lucille Breck and Clyde & M ’Linda Shipley.

A memorial service will be held at St. Andrew Lutheran Church, 13600 Technology Dr., Eden Prairie, MN on Monday, January 10 with visitation at 10:00 and service at 11:00 followed by a luncheon. The service will also be available via live stream https://youtu.be/ezlDgi1IbTg

A celebration of life open house will be held in Sioux Falls on Friday, January 14th starting at 6:30 PM at the residence of Alan and Jeri Breck, 3704 S Florence Ave.
