Kerry's obituary

Kerry Kirby was a lifelong resident of Spokane, WA. Kerry was born on January 12, 1949 to Henry and Eugenia Kirby.
Kerry at the age of seventeen enlisted into the Army which he served three years for his Country. When Kerry returned he married the love of his life Shawn Lasalle. Kerry and Shawn went on to have four children. Kerry worked for Kaiser Aluminum for 29 years until he retired.

He was known to many as a giving, polite, and an all around fun guy. He had a great sense of humor. To his children Kerry is known as a loving father and devoted husband to his wife Shawn. He will forever be missed.

He has gone on to join his loving wife Shawn Kirby, mother Eugenia Kirby, father Henry Kirby, sister Pamela Kirby, and many other loved ones who have passed before him. He is survived by his four children, Israel Kirby, Autumn Kirby, Nathan Kirby, and Lydia Lee and their spouses. All of Kerry and Shawns children reside in Spokane, WA. He also is survived by his siblings Patrick Kirby and wife Susan of Myrtle Creek, Oregon , Deanna Simmons and husband Rick of Newman Lake, Wa, and Duane Kirby of Spokane, WA. Kerry also leaves behind 8 grandchildren who will forever miss their Papa. Kerry also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews.

We will be holding a service for Kerry on September 14, 2018 at 11:15 at the Washington State Veterans Cemetery 21702 W Espanola Rd, Medical Lake, WA 99022 Following the service there will be will be a reception held at 4620 N. Post St Spokane, WA 99205
