Personal note from Sandy and Rhiannon

Thank you so much to everyone visiting this page. We miss Kerry tremendously and invite you to share your favorite memories of him on this website.

Kerry had a vibrant and inspiring career in music, engineering, and education. Most recently, he worked as a beloved paraprofessional educator at Berkshire School. Before moving to Vermont, Kerry worked at Metropolitan Electric on Long Island as an electrical engineer and switchboard designer.

Earlier in his life, Kerry immersed himself in classical music, performing in the US and Europe as an orchestral trumpet player. Some of his compositions and recordings can be found on YouTube. Kerry also applied his rich knowledge of music and performance during his tenure as a Music Specialist at a Virginia prison, where he developed a Music Rehabilitation program for inmates.

Moving to Vermont provided Kerry with the opportunity to immerse himself in nature — planting trees, growing wildflowers, and taking walks with his family through the woodlands. It was his dream to retire and continue to be a free spirit, enjoying the beauty surrounding his home with his family. Any donations made will assist us in ensuring Kerry can return to the beauty that he deeply loved.
