Kerry's obituary
Kerry Ann Kaplan Dawson, aged 63, residing in Ft. Worth, TX went home to be with the Lord on November 9th 2022.
Kerry was born on November 12th and as part of a USAF family, she grew up all around the world with her parents and 4 siblings. Morocco, California, North Carolina and Japan, are just a handful of the places they lived before making a home in Fort Worth, TX in 1972. She went on to graduate from Arlington Heights High School and shortly after started her family. Kerry had two children and in 1996 became a Memaw. She excelled at being a Memaw and was so very proud and loving to them all. In July of this year her first great grandchild was born and brought her so much joy. She was active throughout her life at church and always looked forward to fellowship. Kerry always made sure that her children and grandchildren knew how much the Lord loved them and if they ever found themselves in need of forgiveness they need only acknowledge and ask and the Lord shall grant it. Her faith never faltered, no matter what obstacles she faced. She was and will always remain an admiration of unwavering faith.
Kerry was a special person with a heart like no other. She never met a stranger and always welcomed anyone down on their luck a safe place to rest. She was a friend to all, an open ear to many and gave rock solid advice without judgment. She will be deeply missed and her memory will always be cherished. She will indeed guide us all through our journey on earth. “This isn’t goodbye, this is simply I’ll miss you until we meet again”
Kerry is survived by her daughter Joy Nowlin and son Dennis Dawson. Her Grandchildren Hayden Nowlin, Jace Nowlin, Korin Nowlin, Rose Nowlin and Lyllian Dawson. Great-granddaughter Koralina.
