In lieu of flowers

Please consider a contribution to Help purchase Grave Marker.

Background

The $8000 life insurance policy was just enough to have a Celebration of Life service but not enough to purchase a grave marker.

We chose not to embalm or have a graveside service. Carol (widow), Brenda, and Karen (daughters) were at Ken's bedside at home as he passed. We were able to remember good times, grieve, and say our goodbyes before the funeral home picked him up.

Ken was buried at Gerrardstown Presbyterian Church so friends and family can pay their respects. Because of your help, an appropriate marker with photo was purchased and will be lovingly placed on dad's grave in the church yard.
