Kenneth's obituary

Kenneth Wayne Sanders, 65, of Arlington, TX, finished his journey on this earth and went home on April 15, 2024 surrounded by his loving family.

Ken married the love of his life Dody on May 25, 1979, and had three amazing children. He is preceded in death by Grandma and Grandpa Shelton, sister Elizabeth, parents, and his furdaughter Pebbles. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Dody, daughter Connie and husband Matt, son Kenny and wife Candace, son Jason and wife Mandi, furdaughter Pepper, twelve grandchildren; Tabitha, Paul, Loralei, Natalie, Haley, Novalee, Kaeson, Kalynn, Jessica, Malachi, Colt, and Remington.

Ken's first love was cars, he excelled in his career as an ASE-certified Auto-Technician (not to be confused with a Mechanic), for many years. He loved to make people happy. He was Santa's biggest helper. He and Dody embodied the spirit of Christmas. For 20 years they visited area hospitals, churches, a school, and military families to deliver toys and gifts to children, patients, and staff. Ken was a member of the Wood Turners of North Texas club. He had a natural talent for making beautiful wood and resin crafts. Above all his biggest accomplishment was his children. He was so proud of all three of them and all their accomplishments. He spoke of them every day. He gleamed with pride, every time.
