It was the hottest show in town, the old Rubb New Years show, you were headlining, playing till just after midnight, then Brad Smith took over from there.

New Years Eve 2000 into 2001.

The previous new years you, your brother, and I had been at the big (spoiler alert) 3 day, 100k people, Phish Millinium show in the Everglades.

Back to the Rubb.......

You had that sold out massive crowd in the PALM of your hand!!!!!

True an epic night.

Getting close to midnight, so ya throw down this track 5 mins or so before midnight on New Years.

As the NEW YEARS COUNTDOWN TRACK!!!

The crowd went ABSOLUTELY BONKERS, sold out show, but NO ONE actually knew what the track was!

I mean the place went NUTZ NUTZ NUTZ!!

I was ordering a drink at the bar when you dropped it, and did a litteral SPIT TAKE on the bartender!!!!!!  I knew what it was, dur!

You effortlessly and seamlessly to a roaring crowd went from house music to freaking PHISH, without ANYONE knowing, and used it as the New Years Countdown track!!!

Amazing place in time and space my friend.

You were such a great musician my friend, so far and above a "DJ".

Guess thats what being in a National 9 piece Traditional Ska band as roots will do to ya. WHERES Glen!?!!?!? 😉
