You are so missed. I remember the last day I saw you in 2020, you came into the post office, I was your clerk that day, and as usual you had the biggest smile, always made me feel great to see you smile so big! Am so glad though, that you didn't have to witness the devastation to our community. I hope to see you again in Heaven some day!
Ken has been missed! 🙂❤️ So glad to have seen everyone up this past wkend! My love to you all! 🙂❤️
It's hard to believe that a year has already gone by. In this crazy Covid year where time has sped up and slowed down in so many strange ways it's nice to have the opportunity to think about Ken. When he was working in the store I always stopped to talk to him about children, grandkids and the town. He always had time to stop and talk, listen and share and he did it with a smile. Since we have been self isolating the whole year I enjoy getting into Evergreen a couple times a week and seeing faces but I miss seeing his. I appreciate what he, Centella and Evergreen did for the town by donating to so many local organizations and helping out with KidsFest every year. He understood that his business was part of the heart of the town.
My condolences to the family. Ken was a great guy. How many people do you meet who are always helpful and friendly? Who you invariably walk away from in a more upbeat mood than before? I mainly knew him as a customer but I always liked him long before I found out the Tuckers owned Evergreen. I didn't know about the Crohn's disease or dire diagnosis until the obituary - which makes his attitude that much more remarkable.
Our politics differed but he was true to his libertarian principles. When there was talk about a Dollar General coming to Greenville Ken favored it even though it constituted significant competition for Evergreen. He thought it would benefit the town. He will be missed as a pillar of the community and as a wonderful person.
All the best,
Eric Lund
Thinking of our 50+ year friendship with Ken & Centella and all the good times we've had & with the family brings happy memories of Ken. Especially his kindness, generosity & interesting conversation. He was a very fun guy to spend time with. Our love to Centella & all the family.

What a fine man and a loss for our little Indian Valley. Ken will obviously be missed. His spirit and love for the people here will always be in my mind and my heart. Ken was always concerned about local organizations and groups, and did what he could to help out. I'm glad that he made as long as he did and gave me a chance to get to know him better. An inspiration for his family and friends, and until we meet again may your family be comforted and treasure the good times.
I am so sorry, I am praying for you and your family. May God’s grace and love hold you close.

I really liked Ken. He was always friendly even when it was obvious that he wasn’t feeling well.
I’m very grateful for his hard work making the Evergreen Market a great store for so many years and still going. What would we do with out the Market?

Ken and I extend our heartfelt condolences to the family.. God bless you all.. He will be forever remembered here in Indian Valley..
Randy & I are deeply saddened by Ken's death. He was a true friend and his faith in the Lord was inspiring. He helped us in so many ways after Randy became ill in 2016...his positive strength was, indeed, a blessing for our whole family.

Centella,
Keeping you and your beautiful family in our thoughts and prayers.

So very sad to read of Ken's passing! He's invested so much into the community, always ready to provide help to people during floods, fires and even personal disasters. I know this doesn't even touch all the other ways he's helped, like scholarships, personal and professional encouragement, an ear, a shoulder... RIP Ken! And I send prayers for your family from across the USA!
So sorry to hear of Ken's passing but know he is in a better place today. Our thoughts and prayers are with Centella and the entire family during this time.

Love you all,
Tim & Dianne Ball
