Ken's obituary
Kenneth Emil "Ken" Servantes, aged 86, of Goldendale, Washington, passed away on August 23, 2024. Born on August 8, 1938, in San Jose, California, Ken was a member of the Ohlone Costanoan tribe and was known for his free-spirited, kind, and generous nature.
Ken proudly served in the Army from 1961 to 1963, dedicating his skills as a medic to his country during a pivotal time in history. His love for the outdoors was evident through his hobbies, which included hunting, fishing, hiking, carpentry, and gardening. Ken was not only a great cook but loved to host dinner parties and BBQs where his gregarious nature was at its best. He was a big-hearted individual who left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jennifer; children, Patrick Servantes and Terri Lynne Laxton; stepchildren, Kristina Spence and Trevor Clemans; and grandchildren, Debbie Servantes, Rebeca Servantes, and Charles Munson. Ken was preceded in death by his parents, Manuel Servantes and Carmen Corral; and his siblings, Donald Servantes and Esther Servantes.
The Gardner Funeral Home in Goldendale, Washington, assisted the family during Ken’s cremation. Ken's life will be celebrated on his 87th birthday, August 8, 2025. He is remembered for the profound legacy of love he left behind.
