Kenneth Hull Powers, Jr of Birmingham, Alabama passed away on September 28, 2023 at the age of 73. Ken grew up in Birmingham and graduated from Berry High School in 1968. He graduated from UAB in 1972 and worked as a nuclear engineer at Southern Company for over 30 years.
Ken earned his degrees in mechanical engineering and physics and was known for his intelligence and wit. Though Ken was often described as a reserved …
