Kenny's obituary

Kenny passed away peacefully with his wife at his side on June 25th 2022.  Kenny was a decorated veteran who served in the USMC .

Kenny was born on November 18th 1955 in Worcester, Massachusetts to his parents William and Barbara (Early) Lawson.

When he was just 18, Kenny decided he wanted to join the Marines and was stationed at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina.  After serving his country,  Kenny settled back down in Massachusetts where he went on to enjoy his love for motorcycles. He worked in various shops, pulling bikes apart and putting them back together. He eventually started to drag race bikes, where his love for speed began.

Years later, Kenny took a trip to Florida for bike week. The warm weather and sunshine healed his troubled soul and he eventually relocated to Florida.  During his time there, he met and fell for Kimberly, who he soon married in 2010. Kenny and Kim chose to settle in the town of Ormond by the Sea.   After moving to Ormond Beach, Kenny started working at a paving company and finally ended up a what he called, the best job ever. He worked at Quality Precast for a number of years.

When he wasn’t working, Kenny continued with his passion for motorcycles and he loved to fish in the early morning hours.

Kenny was predeceased by his parents, William and Barbara  and his brother Wayne.

He is survived by his wife, Kimberly , his children Shawn and Cassandra and his step children , David, Amanda and Michael. He will be missed dearly by his grandchildren,  Anthony, Arianna, Makayla and Samuel.

A memorial will be held at a later date.
