I went to school with Ken so sorry for  loss class of 72
Your loss is felt here, in Appleton WI.  It was our pleasure when Ken walked in the door at our Appleton-Fox Cities Kiwanis meeting and said “I want to join”.  When the weather was warm here, we got the benefit of Ken’s help on our projects. We will really miss him. He was a good man.

I enjoyed our conversations, since

Ken joined our Kiwanis club last summer. Always somebody I looked for at a meeting. I valued his blunt honesty and accountability. The world lost a great leader, as his impact was global. Condolences to his family.

I am devastated by the loss of Ken .

Ken was my track coach in the San Diego track club north county  and my friend .

He was an Amazing man !

He helped train me for marathons and half marathons .

He gave me training plans and cheered me on as I got faster and stronger .

He coached me  during track workouts at Cal state San Marcos . He was an inspiring coach and a good friend .

He also ran with me to the finish line during the Carlsbad marathon .

My dad and I also had the honor to join Ken at Ofelia for an escondido foundation event!

I will never forget him . He was such a good man .

A remarkable human being, I’m so very sad he was taken so soon.

My deepest sympathy for your loss.

I am so saddened by Ken’s passing. He was a good man and exemplified what it meant to be a Marine. He will be missed in the running community, DRS, and Penguins.

I'm so upset by this. I met him at the New York World Conference of the Dead Runners Society in 2000. He took special interest as I discussed the specifics of the "Battle of Long Island" during the American Revolution. He impressed me as a very nice fellow. I have made arrangements to have 2 trees planted by the JNF in אֶרֶץ יִשְׂרָאֵל in his blessed memory. In a week to 10 days, the certificates will be sent to the church as I don't have an address for his family. One tree will be from my family, and one will be from his many friends and admirers in the Dead Runners Society. May HaShem provide succor to his loved ones at this most painful time.

I enjoyed running with Ken at San Diego Track Club and training for the Boston Marathon. A very good guy.
So sorry for your loss. Satch was a damned fine man and an example to all of what it meant to be a friend. He helped so many people and he will be sorely missed. Semper Fi, Colonel.
