Ken's obituary
Kenneth “Ken” “Kenny” Morin, 71 of Tripoli WI, died peacefully on Monday September 19th surrounded by his loving family. He is now reunited with his brother Terry, his mom Doris, and his true love–Ruby. He is survived by his sister Nance; his loving children Jaime (Jason) Tyree, Jackie (Erik) Aschenbrener, Justin (Kate) Morin, Jenna (Kyle Richards) Morin; his adoring grand-children Brady, Emmy, McKenzie, Rylee, Osric, Jaymis, Lily; and his dog Buddy.
Ken loved the outdoors, and spent every available minute enjoying it. He enjoyed hunting, counting deer in fields, fishing, shooting guns, mowing the lawn, plowing snow, and mentioning how fast his grass grew and how much snow he got. Ken enjoyed taking the road less traveled and was known in his family for his “short cuts”, and it usually meant the trip would take an extra hour.
Ken worked in cryogenics for 26 years, and all of us still wonder what he actually did for a living. He participated in “take your daughter to work day”, but no work was witnessed on those days.
Everyone who met Ken took an instant liking to him. He was a man of principle, he was honest, and he loved to laugh. He will be missed and loved forever.
A celebration of life memorial service will be at the American Legion Hall N120W15932 Freistadt Road Germantown WI on Saturday, October 15th from 2-6PM. Please dress casually, as Ken would have been wearing jeans. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Edvest, for the Morin Family Education Fund.
"We sure had fun, didn't we?"
