Kenny's obituary
Kenneth William Lynn, affectionately known as Kenny, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2025, at the age of 84. Born on June 24, 1941, Kenny lived a vibrant and unforgettable life, leaving behind a legacy of charm, wit, and warmth.
Kenny was predeceased by his beloved parents, Annie Lynn (née Ryan) and Angus Lynn, as well as his siblings Dorothy (Ragner), Helen (Burt), Raymond (Geraldine), Marie “Mernie” (Edgar), and Patricia “Patsy” (survived by Ted). He was a cherished uncle to 27 nieces and nephews and a great-uncle to 45 great-nieces and nephews, each of whom held a special place in his heart.
He is survived by his caring son Rick (Pauline), and his devoted daughter Rachel (Matthew), along with his treasured grandchildren Christopher and Kayla, who brought him immense joy and pride.
Kenny was a true original. A sun worshipper at heart, he could often be found basking on the beach, soaking up rays and living life on his own terms. Known for his quick wit and quick hand, Kenny was a ladies’ man with undeniable charm — a hustler with a heart, and a pool shark with a cool edge. He loved to dance and had all the moves, lighting up any room with his rhythm and style. His smooth presence and magnetic personality made him unforgettable to all who crossed his path.
Whether sharing stories, shooting pool, or simply enjoying the sunshine, Kenny lived with flair and authenticity. His spirit will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him.
A celebration of Kenny’s life will be held, with details to follow. Friends and family are welcome to attend and share in honoring his memory. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages you to spend a sunny afternoon at the beach, just as Kenny would have loved.
