Kenny's obituary

Kenneth Andrew Ivory, of Overland Park, beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend passed away November 17th, 2025. Born on April 29th, 1974, in Orlando, Florida. Kenneth lived a full life. His love for all good music, but specifically gospel music, his passion for delicious food, and his heart for caring for others are all markers of a beautiful life. Most importantly, Kenneth’s deep love for his wife and children are what will be remembered most. Kenneth’s smile and spirit were warm and a gift to all those he met.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his mother, Vivian Ivory and his brother, Darvis Houston. He is survived by his devoted wife, Cindy Ivory, who stood by his side in every season of life. He was a proud father to his children: Kenneshia Ivory, Catie Adams, Sheldon Ivory, Daijah Ivory, and proud uncle to Jabree Rachel. Kenneth’s legacy continues on through his beautiful grandchildren: Kennedy and Nate. Kenneth will also be missed by his siblings: Lourietta, Marianne, Patricia, Jerron, and Cedric, and a host of extended family and friends who’s lives were forever impacted by Kenneth’s presence.

A celebration of life will be held at Life.Church Lenexa, 21001 W. 101st St., Lenexa, Kansas, on November 29th, 2025 at 11:00am. Kenneth will reach his final resting place in St. Cloud, Florida at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Kenneth’s Celebration of Life Fund at go2.lc/KennethIvory. All donations will go towards blessing families in need during this holiday season.

Kenneth will be deeply missed by so many. His family and friends, the memories he helped create, and the love he shared will live on in the hearts of so many.
