Kenny's obituary

Kenneth Glenn Howard was born June 22nd, 1953 to Austin and Dot Howard. He grew up the eldest of 4 children (brother Ronnie and sisters Janet and Tammy). From the beginning of his life, love for music and Jesus was inspired and cultivated from his mothers piano. The family would tell stories of being tricked into learning to harmonize by stepping on each others toes.

Kenny grew up to spend many years as a computer specialist and formed a family band on the side . Many summers were spent in a backyard jam session that included the whole town. He later used that love of music as a music minister both here in California and Washington. He met the love of his life Debbie and married her in 1976. They went on to have 3 girls, Stephanie, Bridgette and Tiffany. Kenny was loved by everyone who met him for his sweet, generous nature. He never had anything negative to say about anyone, even if they deserved it. Even up until his death, he touched lives and spoke to them about Jesus and his love for his girls.

Kenny passed peacefully at home with his daughters by his side and went home to heaven on December 21st at the age of 68 after a long health struggle. He was greeted by his wife Debbie, daughter Tiffany, father Austin and brother Ronnie amongst various other relatives and friends. He is survived by his daughters Stephanie and Bridgette as well as his granddaughters Kianna and Seren in addition to various other relatives.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to funeral expenses and/or to your favorite music charity in his memory. There will be a graveside funeral service January 10th, 2022 at 3pm at Joshua Cemetery in Lancaster in the Longview area (furthest western section of park on the Ave J-8 side). Please observe all COVID -19 precautions.
