Kenneth Allen Helvie, 75, went to meet his Heavenly Father on August 19, 2024 after a lengthy illness. He was surrounded by his family in his final days. Ken committed his life to the Lord at a young age and dedicated all of his days to serving him. He was a man of integrity who never met a stranger and touched so many lives. If you met Ken once, you would remember him forever.  He was a faithful and wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.  He was a father to the fatherless and a pillar of strength to those who were hurting. He served as a chaplain with Samaritans purse where he ministered to people in the most difficult time of their lives. 

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Lois, daughter Julie, son in law Luke, son Jeff Helvie, daughter Karen,  and son in law Rich. Eight grandchildren: Lyndi, Adam, Cody, Emily, Connor, Cameron, and Jaxson. Six great grandkids: Brooklynn, Kenslee, Vanessa, Elijah, Kenny and Benny.
