Kenneth Andrew Emihl was born on Sunday October 11, 1959 in Middlesex, NJ. He passed away on Wednesday, February 5th, 2020. He was born to Walter Emihl & Diane Colgan. He also was raised by Veronica Emihl, his stepmother. He has one living brother Michael Emihl, who works for public service electric. From an early age, Ken was involved with Boy Scouts and sports. When he was young, he would help his father in constructing the house they lived at in Bayville NJ. These skills his father taught him would help him later in life volunteering and helping others around. At the age of 17, Ken began his voyage by enlisting into the Navy. Kenneth valiantly earned his way to become a qualified submariner and then became a Navy SEAL. He met his wife Diane Rosales and was married December 14th, 1985. Together they had Davina, Kevin (predeceased), Marie Ann, and Grace. Building a strong family structure was important for Ken. When his wife became ill, he retired from the military in 2001 and moved his family to New Jersey. Ken tried to be the best father he could be, teaching the values of strength, courage, compassion, respect, integrity, and loyalty. Not only was he successful in the Navy, but he earned a bachelor’s degree in Business at Stockton University in New Jersey. His journey in life was not an easy one but he made the best of what he could. In March of 2017, he married Marie Armstrong Demboski, and they lived in Vasa Park in Budd Lake, NJ. Ken became close to his heritage and learned how this community comes together. Ken and his wife enjoyed frequently cooking Friday Night Dinners and traveling. He enjoyed talking about stories of traveling the world. There are endless stories from such an incredibly brilliant soul, and for that he will be forever missed. Services will be held in the afternoon at Vasa Park in Budd Lake, New Jersey on March 15th, 2020.
