Kenneth's obituary

Kenneth Joseph was a vivacious, charismatic, and multifaceted man whose presence will be sorely missed. Born to Oliver and Monica Joseph in London, England, Kenneth was taught to play the steel pan and drums at a young age. His passion for music was a mainstay throughout his life, being a proud former member of the Trinidadian All Stars Steel Orchestra and the drummer for multiple internationally touring acts, including Moja Nya, Culture, Corey Harris, and Hailu Mergia. He exhibited facility in multiple musical genres, including Jazz, Reggae, Bluegrass, Zeidico, Blues, and Ethiopian Jazz and Folk styles.

Kenneth was a proud alumnus of both Queen's Royal College in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad, and Howard University, where he graduated with a degree in Business Administration.

Kenneth was a devoted father to his three adult children: Asher, Monica, and step-daughter Fiona. He was a mentor, teacher, and caregiver. He leaves behind a devoted wife, Erin, and a coterie of beloved friends, bandmates, and family members.
