Kenneth Michael (Mike) Church

April 15, 1954 – December 2024

Our beloved Mike Church passed away in December 2024 in Guatemala at the age of 70. He grew up in Arcadia, California and graduated from high school there and attended Lane Community College.

Mike loved everything fun and everybody. He was known as the person who you had the most fun with ever. Even though he graduated from California he lived in Washington State, then moved to San Carlos, Sonora, Mexico & then to Guatemala.  

Mike had his own business for years. Mike’s Yacht Service. He was a wonderful musician, artist, and Boat Captain. He loved Harley’s and boats. Especially sailboats. He worked hard and played harder. He cooked the best seafood ever. He loved Jimmy Buffett and all kinds of music.

Mike is preceded in death by his younger sister, his mom, Nancy Church and dad, Kenneth S. Church, the famous Jockey from Canada. They lived in Nevada.

He will be missed but never forgotten by many of his friends. Mike is survived by his daughter Michelle Dunlap and husband David and two grandsons that live in Minnesota, two sisters, Debbie of California and Laurie of Arizona.
