It is with profound sorrow we announce the passing of Mr. Kenneth "Poonie" Anderson Jr., II, fondly known as Poonie but who preferred to be called Kenneth. Born on January 16th, 1964, he departed from this world on December 3rd, 2025.

He leaves behind his brothers, Shelly Joe, who is married to Veronica, and Michael, married to Kim, both of whom are deeply grieving his loss. His brother Kelton Anderson survives him as well. He was predeceased by his parents, Kenneth Anderson Sr. and Wanda Anderson, and his brother, John Anderson. The void left by his departure will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege to know him.

Known for his skills in fishing and welding, Kenneth was a master welder of high repute. But beyond his professional accomplishments, what stood out about him was his immense kindness. He was a gentle soul who taught those around him how to be kind, and this was the greatest lesson he had to share. His legacy is one of kindness, a beacon of compassion and generosity that will continue to light the way for those he has left behind.

A Celebration of Life in honor of Kenneth will be held on December 13th, 2025, at 6:00 PM in Enid. Let us gather to remember him, to share stories, to laugh, to cry, and to commemorate a life well-lived. Kenneth will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He may not be with us in body anymore, but his spirit and his legacy of kindness live on.
