Kendra Rochelle Cooper (Coop) was born in Akron, Ohio on September 10, 1958 to Gerald and Loretta Cooper. She was the only daughter and the oldest of four siblings( Bucky, Kenny, and Junie)

Kendra was a proud graduate of Buchtel High School, class of 1978. She was a lover of music, The Jackson 5 and Luther Vandross were among her favorites. She enjoyed writing poetry. Kendra was an employee of CSS for over 20 years and enjoyed working with her clients. Her children and grandchildren were her pride and joy, and she loved spending time with them. She was the true embodiment of a phenomenal woman with a beautiful soul and a heart of gold. She was loved by some many people and she will be truly missed.

Kendra was preceded in death by her parents and brother Junie. She leaves to forever cherish her memory her four children: Bruce,Brandon, Bryan and Bre'ana Atkinson. Grandchildren; Bryan, A'Mya, Da' Rya, Brandon, Ta'Riq, Cairo and a host of other sons, daughters, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that she loved during her 64 year journey. She will forever be missed but will always be here with us in spirit and in our hearts.
