I’m just now seeing this and had planned on coming to Ohio the summer of 2022 after my uncle Clyde Goodman passed away.  Sadly family needs to meet family.  Kendra was my older sister by 6 years.  Although never met face to face we did talk on the phone once through Kenny.  Rest in peace and I will reach out to my brothers when I visit my cousins in Akron early next year.
We have so many memories that we have shared throughout the years. I was so looking forward to seeing you this year in April, but God had other plans. Kendra always made me laugh even when she was serious because she had such a way with words. I always told her she should be a comedian, and she will say no I’m serious… Lol. Kendra Cooper was always known as my “play mother “ when we played house back in the day. I am so sorry to hear of her passing, and I’m even more saddened that I’m not able to attend her home-going. May God bless you and keep you and rest in peace. And to the family, you have my condolences and may God bless and keep you also. Germaine Burr

Kendra! I sit and just call out your name, I want to celebrate you still being here with us. However I know God needed one of his best angels home. Kendra became me and Rita’s big sister and babysitter when we moved on Madison Ave.  Kendra was always kind, fun and loving to everyone. When she wasn’t with us, she was on the porch braiding hair, she had magic hands! Kendra could braid baby hair! If she wasn’t doing that, we’ll she was in her room playing I’m Going Down (Ross Royce). Kendra you are forever in our hearts. To her babies your mother has is the picture of love🙏🏾❤️
I met Kendra when I was 19 years old. I’m 54 now. She became my big sister the day we met. There are key life events that I wouldn’t have experienced if it wasn’t for her. She was always so encouraging . There were unfavorable things about myself that I’d share with her and she never judged me by my actions. She always judged me by my heart(she judged me by who she KNEW that I was). I’d often say that she was my greatest gift from her youngest brother. But she was one of my greatest gifts from God. Sis, I miss you like crazy❤️
Sincere condolences to Ms. Kendra’s loved ones, especially her children. She was such a peaceful spirit. Your daughter was my first best friend. Me and Bre would take over your porch all day, everyday! Thank you for always being welcoming to me.  You raised such loving and kind children. May you rest in peace ❤️.
Sending my heartfelt love and condolences to the Cooper and Atkinson families.  I grew up with Kendra and her siblings. Our homes and yards were back-to back.  Needless to say, there was tons of running in and out of each others’ home.  She was fun loving, nice and a good friend.  I cherish those memories, as some of the best times of my life.  May all of her family and friends celebrate her life and find comfort in the prayers, thoughts  and memories that remain closest to your hearts.  God Bless.
