Ken's obituary

Ken Blair of Plymouth, MI passed away on Tuesday, March 10th, 2026 at home; spending his final days surrounded by his loving family and friends.

He was born January 19th, 1948 in Sac City, Iowa. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend who will be deeply missed. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved spending his time camping and hunting and was known for spoiling his dogs, J.J. and Taffy.

He is survived by his wife Nancy Blair; his sons Ken Kolasinski, Dennis Kolasinski, Bryan Blair (Lori), Brandt Blair (Tina), and Brandon Blair; his stepchildren Sarah Gamsjager (Justin), Jeff Durden, and Jesse Durden; his eleven grandchildren Kendal, Kate, Nicholas, Christopher, Bella, Benicio, Stella, Allie, Enzo, Dean, and Lennon; his siblings Danny, Brad, Paul, and Beverly Kobe; his brother-in-law John Gamsjager; his brother-in-law and sister-in-law Jim and Joy Gibbs; his dear friends Bill and Sheryl Sutherland; and his AJR family.

The family will be hosting a private celebration of life (details to be shared later). In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation in Ken's memory.
