Kelsey Tiffany Laine "Squeak" Chatterton, 24, passed away on September 8, 2025, in Groton, Connecticut.

Born on June 21, 2001, in Connecticut, Kelsey brought light and warmth into the world from the very beginning. Known affectionately as “Squeak,” she was a bright and intelligent young woman whose free spirit touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Kelsey found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved to draw, often filling sketchbooks with her imagination and creativity. Her fascination with nature led her to collect rocks—each one a small treasure that reflected her curiosity and appreciation for the world around her. One of her favorite pastimes was reading while relaxing in her hammock, where she could lose herself in stories under the open sky.

She is lovingly remembered by her mother Tammy Tervo; her father Michael Chatterton; and her sisters McKenzie Chatterton, Bethany Strickland, and Cortney Chatterton. Their lives were enriched by Kelsey’s presence, and they carry forward the memory of her vibrant spirit.
