Kelly's obituary

After a long battle with brain cancer, Kelly Brown who was born on January 20, 1959, departed from this world on January 24, 2024. Kelly will forever be in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Kelly was a woman characterized by her warmth and wit. She had a natural ability to place the needs of others before her own, a trait that made her an endearing figure in the lives of many. Her infectious laugh, a symbol of her vibrant spirit, is something we will greatly miss.

She was a beacon of wisdom and joy, advocating  for laughter especially with loved ones and the wonderful experiences that come with travelling the world. Her life lessons will continue to guide us and remind us of her enduring spirit.

She leaves behind a legacy through her three beloved children, Joe Byne (wife Caroline “Carly” Byne), Connor Ferris (fiancé Hailey Metzler), and Kendal Ferris, and her adored grandson, Bode Byne (who she met several times before her passing). She also leaves behind Duke, her black doggie, who was her constant companion and the love of her life.

Kelly's life will be celebrated on September 2, 2024, at 10:30 AM at Nevada Beach. We invite all who loved Kelly and were touched by her remarkable spirit to join us in this celebration of her life.

While we mourn her loss, we also choose to rejoice in the beautiful life she lived and the love she left behind. May her soul rest in peace and her spirit forever live in our hearts.
