Kelly René Ewer passed away peacefully at Memorial Hospital on June 27, 2019, surrounded by her loving family. Kelly's life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by her understood that the quality of life far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives.

Kelly was an inspiration to all who knew her. She was a hero. A person noted for courageous acts and nobility of character. A person who, in the opinion of others, had special achievements, abilities, and personal qualities. She always put the well-being of others before concern for herself. All who knew Kelly loved her. Her spirit encouraged her family and friends to persist in the face of any struggle. Kelly touched the lives of so many; our beloved, shining, happy girl, the light of our lives and the star of our hearts. She leaves us smiling through our tears.
