Kellie's obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kellie Abdullah, on the 10th of October, 2025. Born in 1970, she lived a fulfilling life filled with compassion, love, and commitment to her loved ones.

Kellie is survived by her husband, Sheikh Annuar Shaik Abdul Rahim, to whom she was united in marriage in 1999. She was the proud mother of two sons, Harris Sheikh Annuar and Noah Sheikh Annuar, who brought her immeasurable joy and pride. She was predeceased by her loving parents, Robert Kingston and Mary Anne Russells, and her cherished grandparents, Russell Kingston, Danielle B, Johnathan Doyle Russells, and Francine Braxton.

Kellie leaves behind her caring brother, Ethan (K) Kingston, and her loyal sisters, Maxine and Jolyn Kingston. She is also survived by her beloved nieces and nephews: Jane Whitters, Robert Whitters, Eric Kingston, Claudine Kingston, Chris Langley, Mary Langley, and Robert Langley, all of whom meant the world to her.

Having started her career with Reily International in 1997, Kellie was a dedicated professional who was well-respected and admired by her colleagues. Her faith was an essential part of her life, as she was a regular attendee at the Spanish Muslim Center.

Kellie had a great passion for life. Nature held a special place in her heart, and she often found peace and comfort in hiking, which was also her preferred way to exercise. Her favorite cuisine being fish and chips, accompanied by ice lemon tea, and she had a refined taste for classical music. Kellie was an avid chess player, with the film "The King and I" holding a special place in her heart. For Kellie, Nepal was her favorite place to unwind and rejuvenate.

She was a woman of noble character traits - loving, polite, soft-spoken, caring, meticulous, and hard-working. She deeply cared about old folks and showed great kindness, even when others wronged her. A lover of the color lilac, Kellie had an inherent elegance that was reflected in her simple tastes and lifestyle.

Kellie's greatest accomplishment, in her own words, was birthing and raising her two beautiful sons. Her legacy of forgiveness is a testament to her unwavering grace and determination. She is deeply missed, not just by her family and friends, but also by the birds she used to feed at the park.

As we mourn the loss of Kellie Abdullah, we also celebrate her life and the love she had for us. Her memories would continue to inspire us, and through these memories, Kellie shall live on.
