Keith was the definition of a soldier.  He had a profound impact on me more than words can describe.  He was a leader, a teacher, a friend, and a great role model for every soldier that crossed his path.  He and I had a great bond.  I have been with the Army for 30 years and he is one of few that  made a mark on me and is forever in my memory as a great man, one of few, one that many stive to be.  Rest in peace brother and I know you are there free, and helping all that needs to be helped.  Thank You for the mentorship my brother.
I have known Mr Keith as a family friend literally my entire life as him and my dad were stationed together in AZ. He even helped babysit me at times and I was friends with the whole family that way. After moving out of AZ I only ever got bits and pieces while growing up but my dad never stopped talking about him fondly and never turned down a chance to see one of his greatest friends. I only got the chance to meet him a few times as an adult but one of the times that will stick with me forever is when I broke down in the Texas canyon a few years back while hauling a trailer. I hadn’t talked to him in years but he still went out of his way to help. I ended up staying there for a few weeks waiting on repairs but Cami and him graciously hosted me anyway. I’m just a battle buddy’s kid he hadn’t seen or heard from in years and he still stepped up to help. He was a great man, I thought so as both a child and an adult. He is and will be sorely missed by myself and my family

Christmas Prep — with An Amazing Man
I would like to add my condolences to Keith's family. He was truly an exceptional man, extraordinary leader, and devoted friend. Keith saw right through people to the true heart of who they really are. That made him a vital part of the WHP team. Keith was able to get to know veterans on a deeply meaningful level and discover how to help them heal. He was a man of many talents and interests, but none of them came close to pleasing him as much as helping his fellow veterans. Keith was simply a treasure to the veteran community, and his unexpected loss is profound. We will always remember Keith fondly, and will always be here for his family. Here's a Toast....
I last saw Keith at the warriors healing center on Saturday before the 21st of February … we had an awesome class for PTSD … he is a straight forward n honest person n helps everyone who dealing with whatever ... i’m sad to hear he passed … he’d surely will be missed … my sincere condolences to his family RIP Keith n that you for all the encouragement you have given all of us ❤️
Keith definitely left a lasting impression on me as a young soldier when I was one of his AITers many many years ago and I was lucky enough to keep running into him over the years during my career. He was always funny and fair and a wonderful example to follow. Keith was an institution for a certain generation of us and I think left a permanent mark on who we became in our careers and I will forever thank him for that. You'll be missed.
This man made me so happy I chose the path i was on and was honored to be one of his soldiers in AIT. I remember him fondly and with the utmost respect. He is a tragic loss

Keith and I became friends when introduced by a mutual friend.  We helped each other through some really difficult times of our lives and were there for one another’s families.  He taught me patience and helped me learn to slow down a bit.  He taught my girls how to play softball and gave them a love and appreciation of all things VW.  Keith had such a big impact on my life and that of my girls!  My favorite thing that he would always say is “It’s all good, it will all work out, it always does!”  Over the last few years we talked less because He met the love of his life, who helped him realize so many of his dreams and goals!  Whenever we talked, we would catch up on how our kids are doing, how my mom is and how his Dad and Debbie are and then what was new.  Keith LOVED his kids and his grand daughters, he LOVED Cami and he loved all of his VW’s!!  Keith had one heck of a military career, he was a hero but he never talked about it or bragged about his accomplishments.  He was modest and humble in that regard!   Keith was brilliant, had a big heart, was generous and he always saw the good in others!  I will miss him, but I am forever grateful for the friendship we had!

My deepest sympathies to his beautiful family!!  You are in my thoughts and prayers ❤️🙏🏼

I have special memories of John when he spent time with me along with his children. He was so loving with his kids. We had a lovely visit. I will miss him.

Aunt Pam❤️🙏🏼

Keith was great at everything he did in his life. He served his country as great as anybody could and excelled at his job in the military intelligence community during such a critical time in the USA. He has 4 children Kendra, Kyle, Casey and Camille, who still reside in the Sierra Vista, AZ area. Keith also loved racing and VW bugs and is extremely well known in the VW and car club community stretching from the East Coast all the way to the West Coast. He would have given you the shirt off his back if you asked him and was always willing to help especially other vets. We hadn't spoken in a few years unfortunately due to life, but I can honestly say the impact he had in my life will be one that I will always remember. For any of his friends who also hadn't spoken to him in a few years, he passed away from a heart attack, despite being a health nut. Death greets us all at some point or another, but it's our actions during our extremely short time on this earth that get remembered. Keith you may be gone , but you will never be forgotten, keep slaying em in your VW bug until we meet again in Valhalla!
Keith was an inspiration to many of us at the healing center. Rest Easy , we'll try to carry on and keep up the mission of helping our fellow Vets. Thank You .
When I think of your Dad, I think of courage and conviction. It took great courage to join the Army and to be deployed in an active war zone in Desert Storm. He had many missions over 20 years that took courage. And he rose through the ranks to lead courageous men. He had conviction about right and wrong. He was clear on his values. He knew his true north. He walked the talk. He was independent, strong and self-made. He loved his family and he cherished family time. He loved his kids. And, on the lighter side, to me he looked like Brad Pitt with those trademark Messinger good looks!
