Keith's obituary
Keith Ray Jungjohan, the son of Clarence and Ida (Hass) Jungjohan was born August 19th, 1944, in Cherokee, Iowa. His childhood years were spent in the Sutherland, Iowa, area where he attended country schools and graduated from Sutherland High School.
Keith was a hard worker, a loving father and grandfather, and a loyal friend. He served 4 years in the US Air Force as a Jet Mechanic on the B58 Hustler Supersonic Bomber in the 305th Bomber Wing. After the Air Force, he spent many years as an owner-operator long-haul semi-truck driver. He and his family moved to Texas in 1984 where he was a semi-trailer mechanic, and later a forklift mechanic. He retired from Watkins Motor Lines (FedEx) in 2006 and spent most of his time riding in the Patriot Guard Riders, Run for the Wall, and American Legion Riders and was active in the VFW, American Legion, AMVETS and many other activities and organizations assisting and honoring veterans. His hobbies included working on and restoring old cars, cycling, fishing, camping, and traveling.
Keith passed away peacefully surrounded by family in his home in Quitman, TX on Saturday, July 6th, 2024, at the age of 79. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Milowe; and his brother, Gary.
Left to cherish his memory are his sweetheart, Susie Collier; 2 children, Barry (Holly) Jungjohan of McKinney, TX, and Angela (Nick) Neumann of Wausau, WI; 6 grandchildren; other relatives; and many friends.
