It is with great sadness and disbelief that Keith Owen Geyer has passed away unexpectedly Wednesday August 13, 2025 just after celebrating his 60th birthday.

Keith was born July 27, 1965, in Portland, Oregon, the youngest of six children born to Margaret Mary Geyer (Linguanti) and Dr. Robert R. Geyer DVM.

In 1968, Keith and his family moved from Portland to Georgia to Montana. In 1973, Keith and family moved Indianapolis, Indiana where Keith had most of his schooling. While residing in Indianapolis, Keith was always working and held several occupations. In 2013, with encouragement from his mother, Keith relocated to Venice, Florida where he worked in several occupations before purchasing a dog grooming business. Keith also kept himself busy with other various side jobs.

Keith enjoyed living in Florida with its warm weather, numerous waterways, and plentiful fishing holes. He especially enjoyed being on the water in his boat fishing with his brothers and friends.

Keith was a man of few words. He had a great sense of humor, a quick smile, and hearty laugh.

Keith was proceeded in death by his father Robert Geyer, step father Stanley Knight, and his oldest sister Margaret A. (Peggy) Geyer.

Keith has left behind family members and many friends including his mother Margaret Geyer, brother Jon S. Geyer (Janet) of Des Moines, IA, sister Janet warner Venice Fl, brother Eric Geyer (Becky) of Indianapolis Indiana, sister Barbara J. Fox (Merle) of Bisbee Arizona, a son Tyler Geyer of Indianapolis Indiana, numerous nieces and nephews, and his girlfriend Tammy Cambridge.
