Keith Spencer Felton passed away on January 4, 2025 in Grass Valley, CA. He was 82 years old.

Keith was born in San Francisco, CA on May 3, 1942, spent his early years in Oakridge, TN and Oklahoma City, OK, and lived in Los Angeles, CA from 1958 until 1982.

He held a BA in Theater Arts from Grinnell College and an MFA in Playwriting from UCLA.

After their marriage in 1981, Keith and his wife Susan relocated to San Francisco, CA where they raised their two sons, Peter and Lars.

Following Keith’s and Susan’s divorce, he set up residences for himself in the following cities within Northern California: Petaluma, San Mateo, Redwood City, San Francisco, Camptonville, North San Juan, and Grass Valley.

Throughout his professional career, Keith worked in the following capacities: photographer, law firm secretary, elementary public school volunteer, high school photography teacher, and published author of more than a dozen nonfiction books.

Keith is survived by his two sons Peter and Lars; his brother Gary; his sister Robin (Tom); his nieces and nephews Colin (Betty), Megan, Spencer, Jan (Steve), and his grandnieces Ruby and Naomi.

Keith was loved dearly by all who knew him well. He will be missed deeply.
