Keith's obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Keith Elesie, who departed this life on November 16, 2021. Born on April 25, 1959, Keith filled his 62 years of life with a quiet strength that won him admiration and respect from loved ones and acquaintances alike.
Keith is survived by his wife, Lisa Elesie. Keith was a hero in many ways to Adam Elesie, his son. Adam misses his father's guidance and wisdom. Keith is also survived by his step-son, Aaron Schoenke, whom he treated with patients, respect and kindness.
His sister, Debra Downs, remembers Keith as not only a brother, but a pillar of strength and a dear friend. He cherished his sister, finding in her a source of great companionship.
Keith loved Italian food, finding comfort and pleasure in its rich flavors. He was a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, and Nascar. He often sought comfort and relaxation in fishing, appreciating the peace and tranquility it brought him. In his younger years, Keith enjoyed mountain biking, martial arts and basketball.
Those who were fortunate to know Keith described him as a quiet and private man. His silence, however, was not of indifference but of thoughtfulness, and wisdom. He was a highly skilled craftsman. He worked at Disney for 33 years. Practically every store in Disneyland has his talented handy-work displayed.
Keith Elesie is deeply missed, but the legacy he leaves behind—a legacy of love, respect, good intentions and quiet contentment—will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
