I’ll have to speak for Mom & myself to take the credit for bringing Keith into our family. Partying & driving around OC & seeing this long blonde haired surfer looking cutie, we were woohoo-ing out the car window at him (yeah we were pretty wild so hope this doesn’t offend anyone-lol). So Keith & his friends must’ve responded favorably to our cat calls so we just pulled right up to them & picked them up & took them to the place that we were staying & partied all night(I believe but not completely sure of the details-hmm I wonder why-haha). Anyways, I was definitely interested in this cutie for myself, but he only had eyes for Chris. And we all know what first attracted him to Chris but don’t think I should say it here in mixed company-lol). Anyways, we all loved Keith very much & appreciated the part he played in our family. His testimony & conversion was nothing short of a miracle & it is how we know that Keith is in glory right now. However, his absence here on earth, and in our family, will be greatly missed at our family get togethers & gatherings. It just won’t be the same without him. We love you Keith & look forward to seeing you again one day when we will share all of eternity together.

Chris and the girls,
We share in your grief. Keith was always a pleasure to be around. We spent lots of time together at family gatherings, and we were either talking about our girls, our jobs, or the latest home improvement project. We would crack each other up for some good laughs. I believe he’s the reason we were introduced to Tim Hawkins… Christian comedian. I’ll never again sit under the horse castrater at the Cracker Barrel. We will see him again. He’s probably building an addition to the room God’s prepared for you. We’re here for you to help out any way we can.

Of course I can’t only remember a specific memory but I will say Keith had a knack for telling us about good movies to watch and comedians that he has now turned us on to. We would laugh about so many things and corny jokes he always had or stories he would tell. Keith definitely was a strong and caring man who put his family and god first above everything else! He will be so missed and forever remembered. Until we meet again Brother ❤️

Keith was an awesome brother-in-law. He was such a loving and devoted husband to my sister, and he was a fierce protector of his family. I always respected him so much for taking such excellent care of my sister and nieces. At a very low point in my life, Keith was there for me and Robert. He welcomed us into his home with kindness and provision, without judgment, when we needed it most. Keith had a way with making a person feel completely comfortable and at ease. He was genuine and direct, which I loved about him. One of my fondest memories of Keith was his Sunday morning pancakes. :) I will miss our chats about what's going wrong in the world, the latest aches and pains of our aging bodies, and I will especially miss his humorous obsession with poop, which he loved to blame on his in-law family. LOL! Keith, you are dearly missed. Our family will never be the same without you. Also, I didn't get a chance to tell you I'm sorry about missing your birthday this past year. I can't wait to see you again someday in glory!

To know my uncle keith was to love him. I remember uncle Keith always being a very hard worker. Uncle Keith was PATIENT, he had to be with all of those girls (lol) and that is why God made him such a patient man. He was always cracking jokes and making us laugh no matter the situation. He had the greatest sense of humor and an unforgettable laugh.
He will be greatly missed by all of us. I have no doubt that your light will forever continue to shine down on your loved ones. ❤️

As my Uncle and growing up, having him at every family function, I have many memories of Uncle Keith but I don’t have a great enough memory to remember anything specific or many details but I do remember him being at every holiday, birthday, family celebration, etc. He was such a loyal uncle, dad, husband, brother, brother in-law, etc. and I always knew how hard of a worker was when I would go visit during the summers and stay for a few days! We would be playing and hanging out in the pool and uncle Keith was always out in the shed/garage working on something or doing something in the yard! I always remember his love for his snowmobiling! I remember Uncle Keith being shy and quiet for the most part, but when he did talk, he was pretty hilarious in the most serious way LOL! He was such a laid back and humble man that I knew loved his family with all he had! Although he never had much to say to me, I still always knew and felt the love he had for me and the rest of the family! I always made connections between Uncle Keith and my dad and could see similarities in them and their parenting of us girls. They had lots in common such as fishing, boating, atvs, etc. and always got along so well and I know my dad will forever be grateful for the bond they had, as will I. He was a prime example of what a hardworking man, husband, and dad should be and I will forever value his many qualities! I love you Uncle Keith and you will forever be missed! Our family will never be the same without you and your humor… see you in heaven one day! ❤️🙏🏼
To my sweet aunt and cousins, you are loved beyond words and I continue to pray for you and peace over you each and every day! I am glad you have the wonderful memories and things to hold onto forever with him! He will forever be with you all no matter what in spirit! Love you guys beyond words! You’re the strongest family I know! Xoxoxoxo

My shared memories of Keith began in the Spring of 2007 after I had began dating my wife Lisa, Keith's sister-in-law. The Frey family gatherings provided me with many opportunities to enjoy Kieth's generosity and humor. It was the Frey tradition to write their names on Red Solo cups at family functions. My wife Lisa would write sweet pet names for me on my cup. That is all it took for Keith to take over for her. Every time we got together, Keith would be the first to prepare a cup for me. He would write names on a cup for me like Hunny Bunny, Snookems, Sweet Cheeks, etc. I always looked forward to when we would get together in anticipation to see what Keith had written on a cup for me. What I admired most about Keith was his unwavering love and faithfulness he displayed to his wife Chris and his daughters. In private conversations with him, he would share with me the lengths he would go to in order to ensure the safety and protection of his family. I will forever miss his humor and the admirable example he was of what a husband and father should be. Every time I lift a Red Solo cup I think of him and I will always raise a toast in memory of him.

My favorite memory of Uncle Keith is when he gave me the nickname “big eyes little stomach”. Every Thanksgiving I piled my plate up a mile high and he never thought I could eat it all. He would tell me I have big eyes and a little stomach, which made me want to prove him wrong. I ate wayyy too much trying to show him I could eat it all and always showed him my (almost) empty plate afterwards for approval. Now I’ll always hear him calling me big eyes little stomach when I eat a big meal. Thanksgiving will never be the same without him. We’ll all miss him dearly.

Keith has been a part of our family for 33 years and will be so missed. He faithfully came to birthdays, graduations, and holiday get togethers through the years. He was a caring Uncle to my kids and a wonderful brother-in-law to me and my husband. Our family won’t be the same without him.

Keith took me bass fishing at a small lake on Kent Island when I was a young teen. He taught me several new techniques and reinforced a fishing obsession I still have today. We caught so many bass that our thumbs became raw.

I met Keith and Chris on my 50th birthday when we went on my first snowmobile trip. Little did I know this would lead to a 12 year adventure where I would buy a snowmobile, Keith and I would plan our trip each year to pick the best weather conditions in Old Forge NY. We would play in the snow in the fields around home however nothing was like Old Forge. In those years we only took immediate family because we wanted to ride fast, only eat and sleep when needed. Keith hated to go across the frozen lakes so I loved to test his faith. We had so many great times. During those trips we dealt with breakdowns with the snowmobile, being lost, getting stuck and life back home. During those times I got to see Keith's love for God where he witnessed to me by his actions and words. I saw the love that he had for Chris and his girls. How proud he was of them and the choices they made when he was away. I miss my friend but I am so blessed with the many memories and laughs we shared. My life has been enriched because of my friend Keith.

Chris and Family,
I only met Keith, briefly, once at a NCHS back-to-school night but I know he was of the utmost integrity as I was able to see it daily through Jessie, Lindsay and, Shelby. I can’t imagine the pain but if it helps, at all, know they are 3 of the most sincere and caring young ladies that I taught throughout 33 years at 3 different high schools! He will always Live ON in each of you! I lost my best friend in a tragic boat racing accident almost 25 years ago, and STILL don’t understand why, however, I DO understand GOD IS ALWAYS with us at ALL times and I continue to pray for comfort for each of you. If there is anything you ever need. Please reach out ! Please.

Keith and I went to Ocean City when he was 14. We took my f250 4x4 .It had a 351 engine and 4 speed transmission Keith drove it home from OC. He was small for 14 and could barely reach the pedals. When he came up to the toll booth he said nervously " what do I do? I said give em a dollar 👍😁
