Keith's obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Keith Baker, a beloved father, husband, son, brother, and coach, who left us far too soon on April 23, 2025. Born on November 12, 1973, Keith's life was defined by his warmth, generosity, and infectious sense of humor that left everyone he encountered with a smile on their faces.
Keith is survived by his wife, Kelly Baker; his son, Aaron Baker; his daughters, Breanna Moore and Brittany Aucoin; his mother, Beverly Baker; his father, Mick Baker; his brothers, Gary Updegraff and Michael Baker; and his grandchildren, Madison, Wren, and Drew Moore. His absence leaves a void that can never be filled, but his spirit will forever live on in the lives of those he touched.
In his own unique way, Keith was a remarkable teacher. He had a knack for imparting life's invaluable lessons and being the best "hype man" anyone could ask for. His greatest pride and joy was being a father to his son, Aaron. Moreover, Keith left an indelible mark as a lauded coach in the field of Trampoline and Tumbling.
Yet, perhaps Keith’s most enduring legacy is the cadre of athletes whom he trained, and who have gone on to win more than just championships. More crucially, they have become exemplary individuals, excelling in life due to the values instilled in them by their coach. Keith's legacy will forever be remembered in their successes and in the way they carry on his teachings, embodying the same kindness, jest, and generosity that were his hallmark.
A Candlelight Vigil to honor Keith's life will be held on April 26, 2025, at 7:00 PM at 1081 Ohio Dr. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the "Family Expenses and Memorial Scholarship Fund" which can be accessed at https://everloved.com/life-of…. A full memorial service will be held at a later date, yet to be determined by the family. In keeping with his generosity, Keith was an organ donor and is continuing to change lives, even through his death.
While Keith's physical presence will be sorely missed, his spirit, his teachings, and his love will continue to inspire all those who were fortunate enough to have known him. Rest in peace, Keith. Your memory will forever be a blessing.
